One side of a single leaf of laid paper, approx. 5-1/2 X 6-1/2 in. Eugen d'Albert (1864-1932), Scottish-born German pianist and composer, student of Liszt and a friend of Brahms, writes some hasty instructions concerning program notes and corrections. He was widely admired in his time, and infamous for his many marriages and divorces. Punch holes (one grazing a letter) where once preserved in a collector's album; folded with a horizontal tear at one fold, and a small chip to one edge.
