The concert saluted The Julliard School's first year at Lincoln Center, its chorus joining the musical forces. Inscription reads: "FIDELIO. . . welch ein Augenblick." [What a moment.] Anecdotally, this concert followed the infamous cocktail party at the Bernstein's the night before when a member of the Black Panthers was interviewed by Bernstein before a select group of 90 notables and friends. [What a moment, indeed.] This volume acquired at December 1997 Sothebys auction Estate of Leonard Bernstein. In generally very good condition in like jacket evincing general shelf wear to both.
