This publication is a catalog for the exhibition of the same name held at the Galeria Wspólczesna in Warsaw, November- December 1967. The head of the gallery Janusz Bogucki, conceived the exhibition to introduce or reintroduce the current generation of Poles to the avant-garde and political art, graphic design, photography and propaganda work of many of the leading modern artists of the of the early Soviet era. The show opening coincided with the fiftieth anniversary of the October Revolution, and displayed numerous works from Alexander Rodchenko, David Buliuk, El Lizztsky and Kazimir Malevich among many others. Includes 23 pages of captioned b/w photographic reproductions of works shown at the exhibition. Text in Polish. Wrappers with some light rubbing to extremities, and some creasing along the edge of the front cover near the spine. Minor smudges on the back cover. Wrappers in very good-, interior in near fine condition overall. Protected by modern mylar. Quite scarce.
