First published in 1831 as The Extraordinary Black Book, edited by John Wade. The engraved frontispiece is after Percy Roberts, and depicts 'Friends of Reform, Foes of Revolution'. The seven vignette portraits are Grey, Brougham, Landsdowne, Russell, Burdett, Althorpe, and, in the centre, the King. The Appendix is separately paginated (132pp), and is the fifth edition, also 1835. It has a frontispiece inspired by Gulliver's Travels, showing 'Tory Misrule'.
