Two small minor marks to cloth on front corner. Endpapers clean and bright. Title page darkened by offsetting from frontis plate (no tissue guards). Some very small minor light foxing spots, some minor handling marks, some occasional minor offsetting to a few pages from inside plates. Else plates all very clean and bright. One minor tear to page margin at p207. Else a very good clean and tight copy. 428pp. Illustrated with 48 B&W engraved full-page plates.
