A most charming set of Greenaway's petite publications, beautifully illustrated with her designs and her visions of children and the natural world. Greenaway was one of the most successful illustrators and artists of the Victorian era. Greenaway formed close professional relationships with other artists of the day like John Ruskin and Randolph Caldecott. Her work remains timeless. The 1883 and 1897 volumes lack their free front endpapers, a slim crack to each board on the 1886 volume, otherwise the almanacks occasionally present light general rubbing and wear to their extremities.
