Together, they would enjoy the company of each other. However, Nia's world turned upside down when her grandmother passed away. Nia struggled to cope with the loss and the many different emotions she was experiencing. With the help of her dad, Nia visited a counselor who taught her ways to cope with her grief. Nia found comfort in talking about her grandmother and the memories they shared. She also learned that even though her grandmother was no longer with her physically, her love and memory would always be in her heart.
