Her desire to impact this world through the good news of Jesus inspires me to do the same, and I believe anyone who invests themselves in this curriculum will be blessed by her efforts. The guidance and instruction that she provides is not only thorough and well-researched, but it is rooted deeply in Scriptureproviding a wide-ranging look at the full and complete life that Jesus has called each of us to experience in Him."-Brian Nelsen, youth pastor at Anacortes Community Church"If you are only interested in learning how to use a 'Four Spiritual Laws' pamphlet, this book may be a bit overwhelming. However, if you're wanting to respond to God's call to impact your community for Jesus Christ with a broader perspective, this can be a valuable resource. I appreciate the statement Laura makes, i.e., 'One must recognize who God is in order to consciously serve Him.' I felt that principle emerging throughout as she offers insight to various theological topics and assurances of relationship, with God and with others. This can be a good addition to your library."-Dave Love, retired Foursquare Church pastor and community prayer leaderThis manual prepares adults and youth group leaders (including lessons for youth) to engage others in a caring way, connect with the other's stories, and share their testimonies. Isaiah 58 is a God-inspired outreach facilitated by fasting and prayer. The manual has organized lessons for four weeks of training or a one-week intensive, including a schedule with flexible ways and ideas for outreach:Holy Spirit-led and biblically guidedFollowing the example of JesusLearning to be genuine in your careWinning those that may have a negative responseSeeing your neighbors through God's eyesListening to the other.…
