Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware - Buster Keaton just wants to prove himself worthy of the girl he loves. Her father sends him off to the city with one condition: come back a success, or don't come back at all. What follows is Keaton at his most gloriously unlucky - a string of jobs gone spectacularly wrong, each one escalating into the kind of elaborate physical catastrophe only he could survive. Every pratfall, every disastrous escape, every deadpan reaction is reimagined as sequential art, letting new readers discover Keaton's genius and longtime fans see a beloved film in an entirely new light.Day Dreams is part of an ongoing series independently publishing Keaton's silent films as graphic novels - a project born from a lifelong love of his particular brand of humor, where good intentions and bad luck collide, and the joke is always on the guy trying hardest to get things right.…
