We are dispatched to all large fires to try to stop the fire's progress and limit damage. We have a history of putting out large fires all over the western United States. We have stationed 6 DC-10 fire bombers at each of our fire bases in San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and the Beale Air Force Base in Marysville, California. We have also stationed 2 KC-46 tankers at each fire base. Our goal is to limit the damage of forest fires in the future.
