Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware - This edition presents A Treatise on Secular Buddhism in three physical volumes. The division is an act of bookmaking, not an intellectual partition. The treatise was written as one continuous argument, and nothing in its structure suggests that history ends where a binding ends. It concludes by entering the discipline of meditation and establishing posture, place, time, method, and sustainable practice. Volume II contains Chapters 25-47 and carries the argument from formal meditation into contemplative safety, ethics, livelihood, relationships, moral repair, the principal Buddhist traditions, Buddhist modernism, and comparison with Western philosophy. Volume III contains Chapters 48-70 together with the conclusion and index; it brings the treatise into direct conversation with cognitive science, neuroscience, psychotherapy, evolution, politics, violence, social exclusion, ecology, technology, institutional criticism, emptiness, non-duality, time, language, compassion, and awakening as process. The original continuous pagination is retained across the set so that references remain stable. Readers may therefore move between volumes without changing the book's internal coordinates. These are three bindings, but one treatise.…
