Your novel proceeds smoothly and capably, and assigning heroism and narration to women gave the novel elegance and splendor: Rand, Lamis, Amna, the grandmother, and (the two angels) are unforgettable characters. Similarly in (Under the Morning Sun), you succeeded in portraying this ambiguous period's crisis and in depicting the Doctor's character-a convincingly drawn flaw, for the two children Nimr and Noaman cannot be forgotten, nor can Um Al-Walid, Noura, Naeem, Yassin, Salim, and the Doctor be forgotten. Likewise Warda-a charming and fertile female character.
