Text in English, French and German, this appears to be one of the only monographs on the short-lived Hungarian painter who died in 1934. 110 full page color reproductions of his paintings and black and white woodcut prints and graphic works testify to the breadth of his talent and ability. A good number of his works are in the social activist realm of figuration, every bit in league with the German Expressionists or the Mexican Muralists David Alfaro Siquerios or Diego Rivera. Book.
