He was awarded the Kala Samman for his translation of 'Ramanan' from Malayalam into English in 2026. He founded Poetry Chain, which has a pan-Indian presence. He had the privilege of being 'Guest of India' at the University of Vienna, Austria and was an invitee to the Tagore Centre, Berlin, Germany, to read his poetry. He was awarded the Augsburg Poetry Residency at the University of Augsburg, Germany, where his poem Father Wake Us in Passing was translated into German and presented across colleges in Germany .
