Rips near the top and bottom of spine. Small rips to the corners and edges of pages. Tears in the corners of the spine causing fraying. Large brown stains to the front two pages of ads. Soiling to the cover. The front cover has almost completely come away, only being held to the rest of the book by the binding. Chips, tears and missing pieces to the spine. Pages show reader and age wear with soiling, foxing and discoloration. A few of the portraits have left shadows on the pages before and after them. There are a few cracks in the spine throughout the book. Some of the binding is visible through the cracks. A few pages have come loose, at least one of them is still included.
