Cloth, with dust jacket. 135 pages. Text in English. As new, with minimal signs of use. In 1880 the heirs of Rabbi Leser Rosenthal (1794-1868) donated his collection of books on Judaism to the city of Amsterdam. Housed in the Amsterdam University Library, the collection grew into one of the largest Jewish book collections in the world. The selection is not random but evokes an image of Jewish life and culture through the centuries. Besides book lovers, this book will also appeal to those interested in Jewish culture and history. 777g.…
