På Louisiana er vi således af den opfattelse, at selve præsentationen og ophængningen af materi- alet må afspejle den vitalitet og anarkisme, som er vandmærket i Falckenbergs samling. Når en bombe springer skal omgivelserne endvidere kunne give genlyd. Ellers står vi måbende foran en implosion eller varre: en forsager. Det interessante for Louisiana har derfor været, at der i museets samlinger faktisk findes en række værker, som kun sjældent gør sig bemærket som dele af Louisiana-historien, men som pludselig futter af, når Falckenberg rykker og det motiverende ind. Köpcke, Dieter Roth, Fahlström, McCarthy, Kelley og Land har pludselig fået en overrumplen- de produktiv kontekst, og samler sig med ét til endnu et inspirerende spor i museets profil. -- Preface: It is an unalloyed pleasure for Louisiana to play host to the German collector Harald Falckenberg's matchless collection of European and American contem- meeting between selected works from porary art a collection that fully acknowledges the need to speak in the present with a sidelong glance at the recent past. It is to the credit of Harald Falckenberg that he has thrown conte porary art into relief by flashing back to the beginning of the 1960s and thus showing a continu our development of artistic strategies. For Faloketibery's prin- cipal motive as a collector is the reclamation of humour in art and although the humour is som times more critical than pleasurable, all other things being equal it is a cluster bomb of satire, caricature and joyous absurdiam that the collection detonates. So at Louisiana we take the view that the actual presentation and hanging of the material rigorously disciplined con must reflect the vitality and anarchism that is the hallmark of Falckenberg's collection.
