In that time I had an opportunity to meet a number of people who influenced the final shape of Polish Art of the 70s both through conversation and by giving me access to invaluable documents. I wish to thank them for their assistance. I am particularly grateful to Zofia Kulik, Przemyslaw Kwiek and J?zef Robakowski for arousing my interest in the art of the 1970 when I was still a student at the Art History Department at L?dz University.
