Shrinking land base and rampant unemployment are the marked features of our rural areas. There is need to commercialize and diversify Indian Agriculture to create agro-based employment opportunities in such a way that one can generate more income per unit of area. The present book "Entrepreneurship Development in Agriculture" is aimed at providing the conceptual orientation of entrepreneurship and elaborating the three phases of entrepreneurship development viz. The book is an outcome of document the experiences generated at Indian Agriculture Research Institute (IARI) which pioneered the efforts in this direction by establishing Entrepreneurship development Unit in 1995 in the Division of Agricultural Extension.
