Not only…this, side by side we have also attempted to present the chronicle of Global Ranking and that of the Viksit Bharat Saga @ 2047, obviously in the context of India. Sequencing with this an official announcement came on December 11, 2023 as "Viksit Bharat @ 2047: Voice of Youth" and later on August 15, 2025 in a full fledged manner, as part of 79th Independence Day Speech delivered by India's PM, Narendra Modi, outlining the "Vision: Viksit Bharat @ 2047". For preparing a detailed Approach Paper on this vision, the task also came to be handed over to Niti Aayog. Along with examining the details of the Approach Paper prepared by Niti Aayog on this Vision, this Study critically examines the current potential of India for ascending the chalked out Milestone. The analysis of initiatives designed and are put to application by Centre and States/UTs, as also those which are in pipelines, have further constituted as an integral part of this academic endeavour. And it is on all of these bases that an unambiguous finding has been reached: by 2047 India will not only a 'Developed Nation', but also, a 'Global Leader'. This granular Study is likely to more than act as a policy anchor, demographic check, momentum gauge, and global positioning tool it turns the Viksit Bharat Vision into something tangible. It explains the goal, maps and current initiatives, and identified where help is required and from when and for what period. By doing so, it gives everyone a clear achievable road map rather than distant slogan making the 2047 target feel concrete and achievable. ABOUT THE AUTHOR: With more than Sixty years as a management professor backed by ICSSR and UGC fellowships, cultural-exchange grants, and honors such as the American Biographical Institute's Gold Record of Achievement (1997) - the author has published extensively, including dozens of papers and over a dozen Research Monographs. His field work and lectures have taken him across the USSR, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Kenya, Dubai, London, the United States, Nigeria, and beyond. More recently he has turned to global and macro-level questions. That shift produced "Capricious Global Education for peace (for All) & Progressive Sustainable Development: Mind shift Beyond the 21st century, with Epilogue" (May 2025), and now this study on 'Viksit Bharat', reflecting his growing focus on India's macro-development trajectory.
