Another concept of Srotas is its microscopic description. The functions include nourishment, circulation, excretion a…nd reproduction. In brief, the concept of Srotas includes microscopic, macroscopic, anatomical, physiological and pathological considerations. So assessment of the Strotas and their Moola is one of the means in Ayurveda by which diseases can be distinguished and can be treated. By knowing which Strotas and its respective Moola are affected the nature and the extent of their disturbance, one can understand a great deal about the disease process. The present work wants to emphasize male reproductive components in Ayurveda with different structures that are advocated in different context some time highlighting the morphological and some time relating to functional aspects, too. Before going to elaborate the concept, a brief review regarding the Srotas is discussed.
