In this book, performance is analyzed with the help of gaussian approximation technique under various fading distributions and different power control mechanism with receiver structures. Different kind of fading like weibull, rayleigh, rician & nakagami have been applied to Gaussian Approximated WCDMA system to generate faded transmitted signal and BER is calculated accordingly at the output of conventional receiver. Performance comparison b/w perfect power control based rake receiver and conventional receiver is also done under the severer effect of rayleigh fading.
