The importance of histological confirmation of complete excision is discussed at length. A careful repair according to plastic surgery principles can produce excellent aesthetic results. The technique of simple excision in areas of adequate skin laxity is depicted in detail, and the use of a variety of flaps and grafts to deal with difficult repairs is outlined in 32 diagrams.
