This is followed by anoverview of the relevant security vulnerabilities and a detailed discussionof two security threats unique to CR networks, namely, the primary useremulation (PUE) attack and the Byzantine attack.To better prepare the reader for the discussions in later chapters, preliminaries of analytic toolsrelated to adversary detection are introduced in Chapter 2. In Chapter 3, asuite of cutting-edge adversary detection techniques tailor-designedagainst the PUE and the Byzantine attacks are reviewed to provide a clearoverview of existing research in this field.More detailed case studies are presented in Chapters 4 - 6.
