Illustrated with plans, photos, and visualizations, it offers an insight into the close exchange between the students and the professionals from construction firms. ; Im Sommer 2024 eröffnete die Universität Liechtenstein in Vaduz ihren Erweiterungsbau Ebaholz. Entwurf und Umsetzung des Innenausbaus wurde den Studierenden des Studios Craft & Structure der Liechtenstein School of Architecture anvertraut. Im Zentrum stand die Schaffung neuer Arbeitswelten und der Möglichkeiten für soziale Interaktion. Grenzen waren dem Entwurfsprozess nur durch die konstruktiven Gegebenheiten des Rohbaus gesetzt. Die Studierenden befassten sich sowohl mit Materialien und tektonischen Aspekten der Gestaltung von Wandsystemen, Möbeln und Beleuchtung als auch mit all den Aspekten von Raum und Atmosphäre für kreative Teamarbeit. Im Austausch mit Experten aus der Szenografie, Akustik und Farbgestaltung wurde mit Raumkonzepten, Atmosphären, Materialien und Farben experimentiert. Im Massstab 1:1 wurde das Projekt schliesslich im Detail geplant und in Zusammenarbeit mit Handwerksbetrieben der Region erfolgreich umgesetzt. Dieses Buch beleuchtet die an der Liechtenstein School of Architecture praktizierte Lehrdidaktik des Design-Build im Entwurfsstudio Meister / Rist, also des Entwerfens, Planens und Bauens im Massstab 1:1 durch die Studierenden, und ordnet sie in den internationalen Rahmen der Architekturpädagogik ein. Illustriert mit Plänen, Fotos und Visualisierungen bietet es Ein-blick in den engen fachlichen Austausch zwischen Studierenden des Entwurfsstudios und ausführenden Handwerksbetrieben.
