The main diseases of pigeon pea are wilt (Fusariumoxysporum) andPhytophtorastem blight (Phytophthora drechsleri f. sp. cajani). Powdery mildew (Erysiphepolygoni) and rust (Uromycesvicia-fabae) are the most important diseases affecting the production of pea.
