Often the relationship between someone with AS and his or her partner is so strained that the conflicts escalate to damaging proportions, involving divorce, domestic violence and depression. The author explores these relationships in an effort to bring the two worlds a bit closer, which can ultimately make a real difference in the happiness of many people. In short, this book was written primarily to help spouses/partners of those with Asperger Syndrome learn how to grow away from dysfunctional behavior and dysfunctional relationships.
