This little book contains 10 woodcuts depicting various artists, poets and writers such as Otto Dix, Arthur Rimbaud, Emil Noble, and William Blake, with a quote from their writings on the facing page. At the end of the book is A Note on Woodcutting by Michael Thorp and a brief biography of Arthur Hunter-Blair that is illustrated with a small woodcut. The booklet is staple-bound in the original thin card covers with black wrap-around titling. The booklet is in excellent condition and the contents are secure and clean with no inscription.
