Dr. Grant has written over 100 articles for Air Force Magazine on air operations, technology trends, and airpower history. She was the founding director of the Mitchell Institute from 2008 to 2011. Dr. Grant received her Ph.D. in International Relations from the London School of Economics. She spent three years on the Air Staff working directly for Secretary of the Air Force and Air Force Chief of Staff. This work was part of the Air Force's Task Force Enduring Look.
