Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good - Fine. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Very Good - Fine. Meinzer, Wyman (illustrator). None Stated. A sequel to Texas Lost. A thoughtful reflection on the forces of history that have shaped Texas and its inhabitants. Signed by both Sansom & Meinzer on the half-title page. Gift plate from Bill Cunnigham, Chancellor of the University of Texas System, and his wife Isabella, with an inscription that reads "Dear Augie: Thank you for all that you do for us and The University. Have a great 1998! Isabella and Bill". Given the context I presume "Augie" is Augie Garrido, the Hall of Fame baseball coach who came to UT in 1996. Also laid in is a card from UT aplogizing for having delivered the holiday gift to an incorrect address. Minimal wear at the edges with the only noticeable defect being a small, light, thumb-nail sized stain on the FFEP. A very good or better copy with a nice UT association. Signed by Author(s).
