Paperback. Zustand: Very Good. Justin Langer is not just the greatest Australian first class run scorer in cricketing history-he overtook Don Bradman in 2009-but someone who writes and talks about the game with great insight, experience and wit. In this eagerly anticipated account, Langer looks back on the mateship, locker-room antics and on-field triumphs which made up his Australian Test career and his Somerset captaincy.Peer behind the scenes to relive the night the Australians soaked the English changing rooms at Lord's in beer, the midnight frolic around the SCG in their underpants and baggy green caps, and the Caribbean dinner which cost the Australian Cricket Board 10,000. What was it like to face the barrage of the West Indies and Pakistan attacks at their peak, who was the best bowler Langer ever faced and how did an Adelaide pool table help Shane Warne hone his flipper?Langer also expands on his infamous 2009 Ashes 'dossier' as he shares his thoughts on the current crop of English cricketers and his years in the UK. He writes with great humour and candour of his cricketing friends, foes and heroes and his career highs and lows, encompassing everything from Test centuries and Ashes tussles to a rather unfairly matched eating competition with Mike Gatting.
