Paperback. Zustand: Very Good. I've had the privilege of a front row seat to David Case's ministry for over 20 years. I know of no one who displays and conveys grace as well as he does. His stories of friendships with so many different people will inspire you to love the One who will one day gather worshippers from every tribe, tongue and nation.Dr. Randy NewmanSenior Teaching Fellow for The C. S. Lewis InstituteI have known David for fifteen years as he has sincerely listened to, befriended and counselled hundreds of internationals in our local Metro DC area. As a fellow ministry leader, I have watched him in amazement. Absolutely no one loves people as well as he does - in both first encounters and in developing long term relationships. He is a model to everyone in Christian ministry and an example to the secular community in how to care for our neighbors. If you are wise, listen to David's gentle encouragement to love well. Julie Stoll, Ph.D.Adjunct Faculty, George Mason UniversityFormer Director of Cross-Cultural Ministries and Missions at McLean Bible ChurchI recommend this timely book by David Case, sharing essential insights on why and how to love our neighbors. It is a powerful counter to the temptation to give way to fear and anger at the Other -- people from very different cultures all around us now in everyday life. His perspective reflects gaining mutual enrichment, not doing charity. David has long been an inspiration and model in my life, so I am glad he is sharing with more readers his wisdom in caring for international strangers struggling to cope with life in America. Dr. Carol Lee HamrinSenior Associate, ChinaSource andformerly a senior China specialist at the Dept. of State andadjunct professor at SAIS and GMUAfter initiating and voluntarily directing the Truro International Programs & Services (TIPS) of Truro Anglican Church in Fairfax, VA for seven years, Lisa and I turned over its leadership and a brand new staff directorship position to our assistant, David Case, in 1991. It has been a recurring joy to see the growth and development of TIPS under David's pastoral leadership for over two decades. We are now grateful to be able to glean deep wealth, insight, and inspiration from Dave's inter-cultural interactions with his international friends and neighbors in America.Leiton Edward ChinnLausanne Senior Associate for International Student Ministries Former President, Association of Christians Ministering among Internationals (ACMI)Co-Founder with Lisa Espineli Chinn.…
