Paperback. Zustand: Good. God was NOT ony my radar.I knew nothing about God beyond the very basics--that He was great and He was good and we should thank Him for our food. Yet, I was a young child when I first became aware that something more existed than what my eyes could physically see. My six-year-old self thought I was surrounded by angels. What was this extra something? I had to know. From this curiosity came a necessary promise to not let my limited human mind be closed to any situation I encountered--some might even say 'manifested'--that would help me gain insight into the mysteries of the unseen. Keeping that promise was the hardest, most rewarding achievement of my life. I detail that journey in my book.In these pages, the author shares the extraordinary circumstances she faced on her quest to understand the source of the palpable but invisible presence she had felt since childhood. What was that extra something that surrounds us? From where does that inner voice come, and why is there such wisdom and love when it presses on a heart? On her journey, she encounters unimaginable chaos to keep a promise she doesn't want to break--and in the midst of it is a beacon that leads to greater understanding. Just when she discovers a lifelong truth, she learns that everything is a lie. It is now up to her to determine what is real, what is not, and how much she can trust the voice from within. This memorable, true story reminds us of the power we possess in the choices we make--and the beauty that can always be found in the midst of perceived darkness. In a casual, conversational style, the author walks us through the seasons that make up her secular life to the discovery of the true Source of the light and love that resides within every one of us. A Source that has had no beginning and no end, since before the start of time. This book will touch the heart of its readers with stories that defy human explanation, and share the joy and challenges we face regularly as we experience the mysteries of life.…
