Paperback. Zustand: new. Paperback. A Great Place To Work is the story of a family and a family business. The Oldfields emigrated to New Zealand from Emgland in 1850. Gilbert Oldfield began his road contracting business in Hawke's Bay in 1937, and successive generations built Oldfields Ltd into one of Wairarapa's biggest businesses. Apart from business acumen and contracting skills, the secret of the Oldfields' success was the family's attitude towards its staff - and this shines through in the book. This is a classic tale of a New Zealand family business that grew and grew, but retained its founding principles.
