Taras Kuzio (born 1958) is a British academic and expert in Ukrainian political, economic and security affairs. As part of the CIA QRPLUMB Project, in 1986, Kuzio began compiling and translating information on current events in Soviet Ukraine and provided this information to the media through the Ukraine Press Agency (UPA) in Great Britain. In 1992-1993, Taras Kuzio worked as a research fellow at the International Institute for Strategic Studies. From 1995-1998 he was a senior research fellow with the Centre for Russian and Eastern European Studies at the University of Birmingham in England where he completed his Ph.D. on nation and state building in Ukraine. Daniel S. Hamilton is at the Brookings Institution?s Center on the United States and Europe, president of the Transatlantic Leadership Network, and co-leads ?The United States, Europe, and World Order? postdoctoral program at Johns Hopkins University?s School of Advanced International Studies, where he has was the Richard von Weizsäcker Professor (2003-12), the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation Professor (2013-20), and a fellow in the Foreign Policy Institute.
