Moderate general wear to covers, fine interior. 150pp including index, white plastic comb spiral bound 6x9 with lettering on spine, line drawings and monochrome photos of the island (South Carolina) separating chapters. Recipes are unfortunately unsigned except from restaurants (quite a few Italian st…yle dishes) but do include classics Carolina Spinach Dip, Beer Bread, and Pecan Ham Rolls. Mostly an eclectic mash up of Mexican, Italian, French, German alongside 1960s version of homecooking (using industrialized ingredients) as well as "traditional" fare. Superb piece of americana and regional cuisine. Unless otherwise noted all the citations in our Community Cookbook Catalog have octavo stiff card stock wrappers and plastic comb bindings typical of the specialty fundraising cookbook publishers (Morris, Fundcraft, etc). What may enhance some over others is the inclusion of text and photos as well as truly regional recipes and we take note of such features. Book.
