The second edition of STONE CROSSES IN NORTH CORNWALL follows on from the success of the first edition in which the author set out a gazetteer of over 100 monuments within the North Cornwall area. The range of crosses and fragments stretch from pre-Conquest churchyard crosses through to monuments of the late Gothic period.Since the publication of the first edition of this work several more discoveries have been made in the county. One of these - a medieval wayside cross at St Clether - has been added to this edition along with notes on three important restoration projects. Andrew has revised some entries the first edition where additional information has been received.Paperback. The spine has faded, and the covers and edges show some light wear.
