This probably happened from the book being shelved upright instead of flat. The title page has a gift inscription written with enough pressure to dent the page and the dedication page. Two board corners are slightly bumped. Dust Jacket: The back panel has a little sheen loss from shelf wear rubbing. A crease line is on a corner of the back flap.
