A clean and tight near fine copy in cloth boards and in a very good plus dust jacket with a tear and associated crease to the top of the rear panel and some other very minor wear. Still, a very pleasing copy of the less common cloth format.

Signed and inscribed by Laughlin on the verso of the front free endpaper: "for Gerald Nordland with the hope we will meet again in 1976! Clarence John Laughlin Oct 1975." A nice association copy as the recipient was an author and museum curator. Signed.
