Hardcover. Zustand: Good. No Jacket. 2nd Edition. A good reprint of the 1950 first edition. Bound in a red illustrated cover. No dust jacket as published? Boards are in good condition with some age related wear and discolouration but fairly minor. Lower board has a crease down it, possibly caused in the printing process but not structural. Spine is in good condition and binding is tight. End-papers show tanning and an inscription of the former owner to the front end-paper. The text block is in very good condition with clean edges. Lovely illustrations by Monica Poole throughout.
