No inscriptions or other markings, all edges tinted blue, unread. Pictorial covered slipcase has a few light scuff marks from storage and movement, but is otherwise robust and in very good condition. This book was published to mark the 150th anniversary of the opening of the Stockton and Darlington Railway. In this work all major events and achievements, including an epilogue reviewing what might have been, are recorded through the eyes of the finest railway photographers, observers and historians of the day.
