Fine in a price-clipped, very good dust jacket with several small chips and creased tears along the edges, with a tiny interior tape repair at the crown, and rubbing along the edges. Front pastedown with a br…ief gift note, along with a laid in letter from the same "Don", explaining that "Bob" (Robert Osborn) had sent both of their copies together, and he was sending her copy along to her. The letter explains that Osborn has added color to a few of the images: "You'll notice (at the end) that some color has been added. By comparing the two copies, I see that black-and-white plates on pages 90, [153], and 166 have bits of color added and, in your copy (though not in mine), Bob has added in manuscript on page 52 the note "Happy as a clam." Oh, there's also a bit of color on page [50], and there may be others." The book does include the mentioned color additions, as well as Osborn's signature on the front fly, and his note "with some color added by R.O." on the rear fly.
