In London he has been both cultural attaché and journalist, and in Washington's American University he was Writer-in-Residence. Moshe Dor was a founder and editor of Likrat, the forum of a new generation of authors which caused a revolution in poetry. His very first collection White cypresses, 1954 spearheaded young poets who favored the application of a new, more spontaneous Hebrew.
