Many of them seek to isolate and describe the Jewish component in such diverse human traits as anger, hatred, envy, faith, honor, humility, love, parenthood. Others look at a variety of contemporary concerns like the significance of the Bar Mitzvah, the rationale for the singing of Hatikvah, and others.
