This copy from the library of art historian Roger Cardinal and has his signature on the front free endpaper and a few light marginal pencil inscriptions to the introductory essay.190 pages, illustrations, mostly in sepia. First edition, first printing. Burgundy cloth boards, unclipped dust jacket (now in a removable protective sleeve). Slight shelf wear to jacket, some fraying to edge of front free endpaper probably due to old insect activity, binding tight and square. Photographs available on request.
