Sepamla was part of the resurgence of black creative writing in the 1970s after the 'silence' of the sixties. This novel, his first, was in part his res…ponse to the 1976 Uprisings in Soweto (in particular). A most pleasing copy. The dustjacket is healthy. It has some light wear and scuffing. It is otherwise sure and secure. The boards are tidy. They do have some light corner wear. The contents are in excellent condition.
