About the book >.>.> We present this book with some trepidation because, as some people move deeper into dynamic processes like the Enneagram, it often… happens that knowledge overtakes experience. My concern for these people is that for these people the information they receive about the Enneagram might be moving them forward at a rate faster and deeper than their experience can deal with. If the Enneagram were merely a clever scheme for categorizing people or a stimulating intel- lectual game, I would be far less concerned about the consequences of what I write. I would also probably not be writing this book. The Enneagram, however, is a very powerful spiritual tool. And it can be truly profitable as the conversion tool it was meant to be only if, somehow, the reader's experience is at least keeping pace with the information. Usually, I discuss this material only in individual spiritual direc- tion, where I can get feedback at each step along the way and guide the process in dialogue with the other person. Nevertheless, it is.
