In den WarenkorbHardcover. Zustand: VG. No Jacket. 1st English ed. (1st German-1941). A translation of the 1961 3rd German edition, issued in the series 'Northwestern University Studies in Phenomenology and Existentialist Philosophy'. xiii+172; prev.owner's small gilt label top front pastedown otherwise internally clean, tight & unmarked; green cloth covers clean and minimally worn but spine slightly sunfaded. In her foreword Grene suggests 'philosophical anthropology' as the best genre-name for this work. Subsequent interest among radical and critical psychologists in the role of the body perhaps renders it less anomalous now. Apparently extremely scarce, hardly known in UK.
