This catalogue was produced to accompany the touring exhibition of work by Patrick George (1923-2016) which commenced at the Serpentine Gallery, London from 14 June to 13 July 1980 and travelled to the Minories, Colchester, the Ferens Art Gallery, Jull and the Gardner Centre Gallery at the University of Sussex in Brighton. Patrick George taught at the Slade School of Art for many years, and two artists connected with the Slade were involved with the exhibition; Euan Uglow in making the selection and Lawrence Gowing with writing the introduction.
