During that time of despair, Jesus' family and friends could not see the big picture-not until they experienced Jesus' resurrection from the dead. Likewise, it is impossible for us to fully know why we experience various forms of grief, at least not at the time. What we do have is the promise of his return. At that point, we will experience pure joy. Until then, I pray that you get hope and encouragement from God through this book, the stories, and experiences of everyday people, as well as the stories of people throughout the Bible. God has a plan, even if you don't understand it or don't know what it is.
